tVNS® uses an ear electrode to deliver mild electrical impulses (neurostimulation) to the ear, activating specific nerve fibers and stimulating the auricular branch of the vagus nerve through the skin, sending nerve signals to the brainstem and higher centers. This alleviates symptoms of sympathovagal imbalance, such as reducing seizures in epilepsy.
